Peak Consult
Incognito

RRP: $18,999

Sale Price: $9,999

This speaker is the reason that I became a dealer for Peak Consult. This small stand mount speaker blew me away the first time that I heard it. I thought these guys have something, and it wasn't just the sound quality the cabinet is extremely well finished. It is certainly one of the best speakers of its type that I have ever heard.

It redefines the quality level can be extracted from a small discrete stand mounted speaker. If you close your eyes you will hear all the traditional benefits of a small speaker but nothing gives away the size of the cabinet, you could easily be listening to a larger monitor.

Countless hours of measuring and Critical listening have gone into making the finest 2-way loudspeaker available. An impedance curve and electrical phase character like an electrostatic speaker, the final blend of art and technology have made the InCognito an uncompromising work of art.

The Name
The InCognito boasts an extremely linear frequency response, on-axis as well as of-axis. This makes it a very accurate loudspeaker in a “real World” environment, becoming “InCognito” in almost every room.

Review

The InCognito was september 2003 listed by Stereophile as a
Recommended component Class A

"The InCognito excels at bass ( t h o u g h not deep bass), midrange sweetness, and coherence, and has a very warm and nonfatiguing treble. Imaging and soundstaging are first -rate." - John Marks, Stereophile
