NBS Master III
The NBS Master III range is nothing short of superb value for money, I have tried it on several systems and my audiophile web designer uses it on his home system, he says "I had Van Den Hull Ultimate, Chord Signature and several other cables lying around but the NBS grabs the music and throws it at you in a very easy to interpret clean presentation, with excellent detail across the frequency range and a tight bottom end it makes my old cables sound like tone controls. I shuddered at the price but one step back to my old cables convinced me that it is an improvement akin to a component upgrade, I couldn't bear to listen to the expensive ones as I have a wife and child to support”
It simply has a way of transmitting the music that sounds clean and unimpeded, most cables have a sonic signature, I havn't found a signature with the NBS Master Refererence III. Everything sounds right and it lifts the quality of the partnering equipment to a higher level of performance.
For many people it's an improvement akin to a component upgrade rather than just a cable upgrade. If you can change the source to pre and pre to power at the same time all the better. It is always more beneficial to upgrade the full path of interconnects at the same time.
